Georgia DDS requirements for class D license at age 16:
1. Complete a driver education class(30 hours) approved by the DDS.
AND
2. Complete at least 40 hours of driving experience (6 hours must be at night). This can be done by an approved instructor or by parents.
Sherwood Christian Academy offers a Drivers Education Class each summer that is recognized and approved by the State of Georgia DDS.
